How the plan is built

The generator calculates the days and weeks between today and your exam date, then matches that window to one of four plan types. Your weakest modules are moved to the front of the schedule, and your work schedule controls how study time is distributed across the week.

Questions people ask

How does the NCSO Study Plan Generator work?

You enter your exam date, weekly study hours, weakest modules, current mock exam score and work schedule. The tool calculates how many days and weeks you have left, picks the right plan type, and builds a day-by-day schedule with links to the relevant module practice pages. Everything runs in your browser.

How many weeks do I need to study for the NCSO exam?

Most candidates need 4 to 8 weeks of focused study, depending on prior experience. The generator adapts the plan to whatever time you have left, from a single week of intensive cramming to a full comprehensive schedule over a month or more.

Which plan type will I get?

Less than one week triggers the intensive cram plan, 1 to 2 weeks gives a sprint plan, 2 to 4 weeks gives a focused plan, and 4 or more weeks gives a comprehensive plan. The plan also prioritizes whichever modules you marked as weakest.

Should I take mock exams while studying?

Yes. The generator schedules timed mock exams at intervals that match your timeline: every other day for the sprint plan, every third day for the focused plan, and weekly for the comprehensive plan. Mock exams reveal weak spots before exam day.

Is the NCSO Study Plan Generator free?

Yes, it is free and works without an account. To practice the full bank of NCSO-style questions across all 10 modules you can start training with NCSO Prep. The tool is independent and not affiliated with ACSA or the CFCSA.
