NCSO Prep exists for one reason: nobody should walk into their National Construction Safety Officer exam guessing whether they are ready.

We built NCSO Prep from the field, not from a lecture hall. It started as a study tool for a working pipeline crew in Alberta — people studying in trucks, at camp and on night shift, usually with no signal. That origin still shapes every decision: the app works fully offline, sessions take ten minutes, and everything is measured so you always know exactly where you stand.

What makes us different

• A readiness score, not a guess. Accuracy, syllabus coverage and retention combined into one honest number — deliberately conservative, so it never flatters you into sitting the exam early.
• Memory science, applied. Spaced repetition schedules every question for the moment you are about to forget it.
• Exam-real practice. Timed 100-question mocks weighted like the real blueprint, with feedback withheld until you submit.
• Field-first engineering. Offline-capable, installable on any phone, and synced across devices once you are back in coverage.

NCSO Prep is an independent study platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA) or any certifying body. Our question bank is original content written against publicly available legislation — the Alberta OHS Act, Regulation and Code — and widely used industry standards.
