How to embed a widget

  1. Click Copy on the code box for the widget you want.
  2. Paste it into the HTML of your page, post or CMS where you want the widget to appear.
  3. Publish. The widget loads in an iframe and styles itself with a transparent or white background so it blends into your theme.

No API key, no signup, no JavaScript to host. Keep the "Powered by NCSO Prep" attribution link, and you are good to go.

Questions people ask

Are the NCSO widgets free to embed?

Yes. All three widgets are free to embed on safety blogs, training sites and intranet pages. The only requirement is keeping the Powered by NCSO Prep attribution link that appears under each widget.

Do I need an API key or signup to use the widgets?

No. Each widget is a self-contained iframe. You copy the embed code, paste it into your page, and it just works. There is no API key, no backend and no signup required.

Can I customise the widget colours or size?

You can change the iframe width and height attributes to fit your layout. The widgets use a transparent or white background so they blend into most themes. Full CSS customisation is available for partner accounts on request.

Will the widgets slow down my website?

No. Each widget loads a single lightweight HTML file with no external scripts or trackers. The iframe loads lazily and the total payload is a few kilobytes, so it has minimal impact on page speed.

Do the widgets work on mobile devices?

Yes. Every widget is responsive and adapts to the width of its container, including on phones. Set the iframe width to 100 percent so it scales with your layout, and pick a height that fits your design.
