Where auditor training fits in the NCSO

The NCSO program in Alberta requires 11 compulsory courses plus 2 electives. ACSA's Auditor Training course is one of those compulsory courses, which means you cannot earn the NCSO designation without completing it. It is not an optional add-on - the auditor qualification is built into the designation itself.

What the COR audit involves

The COR audit is a structured review of a company's health and safety program. As a qualified auditor you assess whether the program meets the standard, document gaps, and produce an audit report the company uses to earn or maintain its COR. Because contractors need the COR to bid much of the work in Alberta, auditors are a valuable resource inside any construction firm.
